Maternity Session at the Sandwich Boardwalk

It's true, time flies, and before you know it your baby is no longer the baby- she's going to be a big sister! I had the honor of photographing Victoria and Will's first maternity session at The Sandwich Boardwalk. We had such a wonderful time, we chose to do their maternity session for baby girl #2 there as well!

I love when clients (that's a hard word for me to use because 90% of the time I end up becoming friends with the families I photograph!) come back to me! I love seeing bumps become babies, babies become toddlers, and families grow! It's safe to say that I love my job, and it's the best there is!

I met up with Victoria, Will, and Amabel about an hour before sunset. This gave us time to take our time walking around The Sandwich Boardwalk. When we have young toddlers, I like to take things at their pace! A mix of family photos, snuggling with Mom, and playing airplane with Dad made for the perfect evening!

As a Mom of three, I have gone through different phases towards the end of each of my pregnancies. With the first, there is so much excitement in the anticipation over all that is to come. And then, with each baby after, you start to envision life as a family of 4 (or 5!) and how your children will interact together. Getting to photograph that for so many families here in Cape Cod is an honor.

Victoria wore a beautiful white, off-the-shoulder swiss dot maxi dress. We brought in a little color with Amabel's dress and Dad's pants. I always recommend soft, neutral colors. This helps ensure that your portraits look like the work you are used to seeing from me. It also helps allow for a cohesive feel among your photos when you book multiple sessions with me!
