Mother-Daughter Session at Town Neck Beach

Every mom deserves pretty pictures with her babies. They grow so fast. And as moms, we are often busy keeping up with the day-to-day that we are rarely ever in photos with our children. I'm a photographer and I am even guilty of it. So you can imagine my excitement when Jaclyn reached out about doing a mother-daughter session at Town Neck beach with her two girls.

Living on Cape Cod, beach sessions are very common but I never grow tired of them. We started this motherhood session along the dunes, making sure to get photos of Mom with both girls, Mom with each daughter, and of course the two girls together. Once the sun started to set, we moved down to the water.

We couldn't have asked for a better night for their session. The sunset was beautiful and we had the perfect amount of wind. Soleil and Scarlet are both as sweet as they are beautiful. Their long hair blew in the wind along the beach and made for some of my favorite children's portraits. Seriously, they could both be models!

It's these photos that remind me of why I do what I do. They are simple, sweet and document the connection that Jaclyn has with her girls. These are the memories I know she will cling to with each passing year. And as the girls get older, I know they will be so thankful their mom made it a priority to do this with them.
